The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness. For more than a century, the BSA has helped build the future leaders of this country by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun. The BSA believes - and, through over a century of experience, knows - that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society. We will work with all families to ensure they can participate regardless of financial circumstances.

Girl Scouts helps girls develop their full potential. When a girl becomes a Girl Scout, she grows into a young woman who is self-confident, strong and compassionate. She learns how to build and maintain healthy relationships. She becomes more aware of the world around her and uses her skills and talents to make her world a better place.

Girl Scouts is open to all girls K-12, and any adult who wishes to volunteer. They serve economically disadvantaged populations and reach out to remote areas and urban centers. They have special programs to serve immigrant populations, and have the ability to serve those with special needs. They will always work with families to ensure that all who want to be Girl Scouts can join!
